"Heaven-on-Earth"

Another month for me and aedner! weeeee! :) Two months feel like heaven on earth! yea, i call it h-e-a-v-e-n! :)
Let thy photo speak! :) Clockwise from bottom to top: Me in my monthsary video message for my bebe. actually, i bought the name of the cake and not the cake itself *grin* If i were to choose, i could've bought the blueberry cheesecake instead. sluurp! but nah, this time i'de rather have the Heaven on Earth. :) Thanks to Starbuck's for calling the yummilicious chocolate mousse 'Heaven on Earth'. :) The exact description i was looking for! Thanks bebe for the love that makes me feel like i'm in 'heaven on earth'! I LOVE YOU!
My bebe sang the song 'Here by Me' by 3 Doors Down! yea, the entire song! live via ym! :) aaaaw! thank you so much! Thanks also for sharing with me the song entitled, 'If That's Okay With You' by Shayne Ward! :) wow! i wanna exclaim "I'de LOVE to!!!" :) hopefully the next song i'll hear you sing...soon...or sooner... is 'She Said Yes' by Brad Paisley. :) hehehe!
We ended our conversation with a prayer. God knows what's inside our hearts. He knows how much i love His aedner. Thank you God for giving us another month! we love You, God! :)

La Union Surf Break & Octoberfest!

Sun, Waves and Surfing
I enjoyed playing with big waves and camwhoring using reg's underwater camera! cool! :D I can tell that even baby ysa in her mini PFD's enjoyed the waves with her mommy marmi. :) we jumped and face sidewards to battle with humongous waves! weeeeee! :) but alas, jherome got stung with a jellyfish so we called the medics and accompanied him till he got his injection. fortunately the sting is just itsy bitsy that he was still able to surf! :)
And now..my turn to surf! weeeeee!
First things first, surfing 101 with my surfing instructor. He taught me the proper surfing position and shared some techniques on how i can ride the surfboard smoothly. After 5 minutes, i put on the leash of the surfboard and off we go to the water! so this is it! i hafta face my fears! woooo! yea, i was scared at first coz i dunno how to swim and afraid to be washed out by those big waves! i'm scared but wasn't hesitant to try surfing coz swimming is not a requirement though & yet the instructor is there to assist you for sure. When i was atop the surfboard the first wave coming towards me was huge so i gripped the surfboard tightly but then i was lying close to the board that it hits my chin and my chest! waaaah that hurts! but the fear is greater than the pain so off i go upstream, crashing against several huge and not so huge waves. and finally, the small wave is coming! the instructor gave me the cue to ride the wave so i got up the surfboard but whoa i fell! i tried getting up the board several times. i slipped off and fell! waahaa! kakapagod but i enjoyed it! sobra! :D

La Union Octoberfest
Aaah octoberfest..the usual band music, conversation, booze and camwhoring...except that we're sitting on the sand. :) some were dancing, singing with the band, sitting by the shore, watching the huge waves and enjoying the company of friends. I can tell everybody's enjoying! I didn't gt a booze for some reason but I did enjoy Octoberfest in La Union! :)

Side Trip to Villasis and Isdaan
We went to Villasis for our first stop. Been there before, during our trip to Manaog so i know what to excpect. :) Anyway i just bought 'tupig' :) Second stop is Isdaan, a floating restaurant somewhere in Tarlac. A great ambiance to eat and chillax. We look around the place and took some pictures :) You could also visit the 'Taksiyapo' wall to release your anger. Taksiyapo sa taksil! magnanakaw! tsismosa!!! Throw off the mugs, plates and TV you want but you've gotta pay for it! hehe! they are not for free! :) Our group throw off a mug (the least expensive hehe) on taksiyapo wall. sabay sabay kami hehe. but i can tell that nobody's bitter! everyone throws the mug with smile on their faces! hehehe well, that's better than being bitter! :)

I did enjoy this trip! how i wish my bebe was there too. He's gonna enjoy the trip for sure! I know he did enjoy his trip to Chicago Botanical Garden that same day as well. Twas a beautiful weeked for both of us! :)

Learning Chinese

inspired by rui di's (randy aka bebe ko) post, here's a blast from the past!! i just wanna share a blogpost from my previous blog way back 2006. :) i am indeed constantly learning new things! :) recently i've learned 2 new meaningful sentences in chinese: rui di AI ka la (randy loves carla); WO AI NI, rui di! ( i love you, randy!)

i miss my Chinese lessons way back in kindergarten and elementary days!..twas fun learnin' the Chinese language! my teacher (we call her syen-sei) gave me my Chinese name..and my name is TO-KA-LA! =) the surname goes before the first name. Here's how it is written..

i remember my friend's Chinese name is "hua deng" (his father gave him his name..i dunno if he has a Chinese blood)..and i would tease him "hua deng -badeng (sounds like bading)"..*lol* gee im bad! but twas just a joke..then my friend would call me back "ka-la-to"! nyaha! ;P
back to the story..;) I even taught my mom (by the way, i'm a pure Filipino that's why..) how to count and write in Chinese coz she's helping me out with my homework..well, i dunno how to study on my own then. at the age of 5, i would mumble et..di..sa..si..go..lak..chet..pwe..kaw..chap.. when im counting then po..pho^..muo..fu^o..te..t-hu..ne'..le.. when im reciting the alphabet.. =) then we would write the "ren si lang".."ta si twa"..so on and so forth..my lips pouts and my tongue twists whenever i utter a single Chinese syllable..they really like to stare at my lips everytime i pronounce the word. hehe they were amazed by how i recite and sing in Chinese *wink* hehe *bow* :P
Twas during those elementary days that i kinda found the subject not-so-interesting anymore..its bcoz i got tons of homework and lessons to study in my other English subjects..my focus was deviated and i gt sleepy during chinese classes coz it's from 1:00 to 2:30pm.. Twas during the Meteor Garden mania that i regret not continuing my Chinese lessons then. F4 was blowin' the airwaves with their popular Chinovela and songs..i tried to recall what i've learned and alas, i can only remember a 'lil and can't even understand the dialogue in Chinese..nyargh..nwei, its not a big deal coz they're dubbing it in Tagalog. =) but i like singing the F-Four hits.."Ni-bou-gwai..ni sher hai wei chua lai..coz i can't help falling in love with you"..ahaha soundtrack of the movie Lilo and Stitch..=) and a couple of F4 hits..Haay, i miss my Chinese classes.. =)
Well, that's all for now..i hafta go home..class dismissed! *lol*

Surprise!!!

It's been a looong day for me but quite rewarding coz i was able to finish all my tasks as planned! :) i was able to finish my SNI testing! weeeeee! :D Also done with my ambush interview from aedner's friends! bwahahaha! thank you so much guys for your time! the birthday greeting videos i planned for my bebe wouldn't be possible without your participation. :) also, special thanks to jake and mitch for introducing me to some of aedner's closest friends. :)

And finally.. i'm done uploading the videos! :)



I'm thinking of what will be the best way to break this surprise without making it so obvious...hmnn..how about sending him an email regarding a testing task? ..by verifying the screenshot in the link i dumped the videos? watchathink huh? :) I hope he likes the videos..Happy Birthday in advance, bebe ko! :D
