Happy 1.883!

Had lunch at Fazoli's and grabbed a slice of cheesecake for dessert at Cheescake Etc. I made this lunch extra special for our 22nd love monthsary :) planned about this concept a night before so i brought with me my scripting gel and digital camera :)

Our Engagement Photoshoot

Aedz and I are so excited!!! :) Thanks to Irish Santos, our pre-nuptial photo shoot organizer! :) She already sent out samples of pre nup pose Aedz and I will be doing! we love it! :)

Everything

Bebe sent me another nice mushy artsy stuff last night! i looove it!!! thanks, bebe ko! *hugz*
Aedz sent the lyrics of the song, "Everything" in my email last month...one of his sweetest ways of greeting me good morning :) the song means EVERYTHING to me as well and i just can't help but smile as i reminisce our happy memories *giggles* while song was playing :) ..and guess what! i played just one song in my zune the entire day! :) pumped up the volume so i hear the lyrics loud and clear...humming the song softly while working hehe but....when i gt home, full of adrenaline i sang out loud..pouring my heart out! haha!...felt like i've been deprived to have a duet with michael buble the entire day! haha! finally, may moment na akong kumanta!!! so i sang..."and in this craaaaazy life, and through these craaaaazy times..it's youuu, it's youuuu! you make me sing! you're every line, you're every word, you're everything!" :)

Our Wedsite

Aedz and I began the construction of our wedding website (wedsite) last May 6. It's currently in progress at momentville.com...however 2 weeks ago i came across yola, a website host. very interesting because it's more flexible in yola due to its html editor feature, which we will be needing to change the header and background of site and add lotsa tweaks..if we have lotsa spare time, we will change ours to purple & green to match our wedding motif..something unique :) aedz will take care of the artsy header & background designs in photoshop & xara extreme and i can help in writing the articles & html coding :) we're quite busy these past few days so we have not decided yet where to host our wedsite.

Why we created the wedsite?
This is to provide our guests with all our wedding information (from wedding preparation to our future plans). We are going to update the wedsite from time to time so it'll also serve as our wedding journal :)

Wedding Board

This is the exact hue of purple and green that Aedner & I wanted to use on our wedding motif :) We consolidated all the photos we found in the internet (thanks ms. WWW!) and voila! here's our purple&green wedding board! :)

From this color board, we were able to come up with the draft design of our entourage gowns & suit..every little detail from head dress to shoes :) and oh, Aedz & I found a lovely pair of purple shoes in SG :) we love the exquisite design! I put it on and walk around..dramatically walking like a bride haha! feel na feel! :P we were goofing around again :P Aedz was smiling at me, he told me I look great awww :) standing next to Aedz in a three-inch high-heeled shoes is perfect! :) we also caught auntie (shoe store staff) smiling hehe..uh-oh! ;P
We also visited a few dress shops in SG looking for gowns, finding the right shade and texture of fabric..then visited fashion accessories stores looking for our bridesmaids head dress :) Malling is a lot different now...it's more fun! :) I really enjoy doing wedding stuffs with my bebe aedz :)

Our Wedding Preparation

Day 1. How the wedding planning started: April 2010, I was in Singapore for a 2-week vacation. Aedner & I were in front of his laptop surfing the internet when he requested me to search for the instrumental wedding march (forgot the title & artist waaah). We listened to the song and Aedner cut it off, saying "Be, start na tayo plan for our wedding" Right there and then we started planning for the wedding date. We definitely cannot choose 2010 because my brother, Patrick got married last March 2010. Well, there's this ancestor's belief that siblings cannot get married on the same year. Old folks call it 'Sukob'..not sure of the term though, kindly correct me if i'm wrong. Well, there's no harm in following traditions though. After wedding budget and cash inflow calculations, we decided to have the wedding either October 8, 2011 or December 18, 2011. Next, we decided where the wedding ceremony will be held. On top of our list is Shrine of Jesus.
We then created a draft for list of guests and entourage...next is the color palette for our wedding motif...and then bridal gown designs, groom's suit and entourage gowns. Aedz and I both enjoyed the wedding planning stuff...we didn't even noticed that it's already wee hours of the morning! hehehe..aedz & i almost forgot that he has to get up early for work waaah!

Day 2. Aedz' colleagues at work (those on their wedding prep stage --thanks, guys!) gave him the list of couture in Philippines. Too excited, he sent me all the different lists at once and requested me to browse for their designs online :) I was at home at that time(SG), online and so excited i checked it right away :) was amazed by the beautiful wedding gowns! :) When Aedz came home from work, we looked at the designs together :) and that night, surprisingly we already picked a few designs for my wedding gown! :) whoa, i told him i needed to burn lotsa carbs just to look fabulous on those wedding gowns! haha! aedz told me, "Oo be, papayat ka rin...kapag payat na lahat ng tao sa mundo" sabay kiss...wahaha! :P i exclaimed, "ikaw rin!" hehe...just being our silly selves again :P that works for us though :)

Day 3. After dinner, as usual we surf the internet together to look for wedding stuffs. We decided to have our wedding ceremony at Shrine of Jesus. Beautiful interior, traditional & polished exterior, has long aisle :) and oh, aedz already pictured out my dramatic entrance :)
Same night, we also checked color boards for motifs and even tried out different color combinations. Thanks to Photoshop :) Tadaaaaa! our motif is purple & green! :) Both colors hold significant meaning for me and aedz :) Both of us loves the color Green and Purple is color of the year for 2008; the year when Aedz and I met! :)

Day 4. Aedz came home carrying a cute tote bag filled with pamphlets, CDs, and calling cards from various wedding suppliers (couture, photographers, cake shops, caterers, florists, etc). Thanks Anna Yabut for sharing those stuffs with us! :) We checked out the list of wedding suppliers after dinner and that kept us busy the whole night! :)

Day 5. Aedz told me that engaged couple Chie and Liza wanted to meet me, especially Liza so we can talk and share thoughts about wedding stuffs. I'de love to meet them but unfortunately we didn't. Hopefully when i get back to SG i can meet you guys :) During my spare time (when my bebe aedz' is at work) i usually browse on wedding stuffs, wedding ideas..WHAT TOs and WHAT NOT's..thanks to my reliable friend, Ms. World Wide Web! :) and oh, Friday night is gluttony & movie marathon night! Weekend as well..it means lesser time on wedding preps :)

Flash forward... :P

May 3. I'm back in Pinas! Time to hunt the list of suppliers on our list! hehe..Luckily, Monday is holiday! :) Had time to get the price list of various wedding caterers, receptions, and Churches. I walked to and fro...as busy as a bumble bee but i enjoyed every minute of it! :) so this is how it feels.. at the end of the day, i was so tired but elated! :) excited that when i get online and talk to aedz, we will be able to start sorting out things :) and so we did! we consolidated all wedding details & plot it out in EXCEL sheets...plot comparison of amenities, prices, and freebies...plot & prioritize tasks! thanks to my groom, who cares a lot about every little wedding detail just like i do :) two pairs of hands are better than one! you're physically far but oh, so near :) thanks, bebe! :*

May 4. We picked out the suppliers on top of our list and paid the reservation fees. Done! :)
Yey!!! :D Thanks, Bro! :) The wedding ceremony will be held at Shrine of Jesus on December 18, 2011. Reception will be at Villa Immaculada, Intramuros catered by Tamayo's :) This is it!!! :)
The wedding preparation just began...we're expecting more intricate wedding details to sort out and another set of tasks to begin with! :) together, aedz and i are gonna take one step at a time. we can both do everything in Him who gives us strength.
